I was thinking/hoping this was coralline, but now I'm thinking maybe red turf algae. Thoughts?

Does not come off with a toothbrush. Green and red as pictured. I am not sure if it starts green and turns red, or is separate species...

Seems very slightly "fuzzy" in appearance, I think.

Tank is approaching 6 months. Have added snails, but no live rock or coral.

Just added light recently. Was there prior, but is accelerating with the lights on.

Absolute crap shoot what will hitchhike in and take off if you never seeded any live rock (Not wet rock with bacteria; real live rock with critters in it). But coraline shouldn't be fuzzy and usually has a visible 'leading edge'.
