I think there is one callout on using Ecotech for lights. There is a known bug within Mobius that will randomly reset the clock within the application. This results in everything that is being connected through the app to run based on that time. This means your lights might randomly kick on at 2 AM or any other time really. It’s not as big an issue if you are only running pumps but I see it as a larger issue if using the lights.

Interesting - I run 3 Mobius-controlled systems and have had zero issues for years. I have a total of 27 Ecotech devices on Mobius, super happy with all of them! Perhaps I’m lucky?

Are you referring to the Pro's or the regular ones?

If you have a deep tank, go for the Pro’s. My tank is 24” deep so went with XR30G6 Blues. My frag tank has 3 XR30G4 Pros — still growing corals so no need to upgrade. I run them at 65% using TSA lighting template.

still just doing a lot of research on everything for sure so trying to take it all in while I wait on the tank to actually ship :)

It usually happens to me once every couple of months or so. I also find it prone to happening after power outages, and I will have to go back in to the app and reset the clock. I learned to add the calendar widget to the apps home screen so it’s front and center when I open it.
