I’ve got 3 pairs and all parts of the spectrum. My MochaVinci pair is sooooo mean and bite me all the time but they’re also a breeding pair. They’ve both drawn blood before.
My other pair has chilled out since being together - both are widows. Female is an Extreme Frostbite and she used to be mean when she was in a 20g with her original mate. She banished him and killed him suddenly one day. The male she’s currently with is a Black Storm who had a different mate but she died after becoming egg bound. They were never aggressive until the day they first laid eggs which is how I knew they were breeding. Now that the two are together, they’re very chill.
My third pair are giant Spotcinctus and the male is such a scaredy cat that he actually launched himself out of the tank while I was feeding them the other day. He’s fine but they are both just so timid. The female is definitely the boss of the tank though.

In my last tank, they bit me all the time. This time around - not at all! In fact they hide when I put my hand in the tank.

Amazing!!! Lol Checked out your Tank Thread. Nice collection. Do you still have the Mummyeyed Chalice? One of my favorites.
Ive been really bad about updating my thread. The tank almost came down but now ( outside of a algea bout ) its doing well again. I did sell that chalice but I have gotton back many chalices. I may bring that one back too.

My Ocellaris were good for the first 2 or 3 yrs but since then the female will come across the tank to bite my hand - every single time.

Really, no animal in the wild kingdom comes to mind matching the aggression of many female clownfish. In comparison to all other fish. And in our “reefing” world, it’s not because they’re protecting their young.

My perc doesn’t bother me.

My male Darwin doesn’t bother me.

Luxo makes up for both of them.
