Hi everyone,
I purchased a purple base Yuma from TSA that I’ve had for a little over a week now. I put it into a frag rack close to the sand bed. It’s looked fine all week until yesterday or the day before it was discharging something from its mouth which i assumed to be normal. Today I get home late from work and it seems to be fuzzy. I go and suction it off not really thinking about it and it left a giant tear on the coral very clearly dead from it. I’m about to do a water change as I’m not sure what it could be! My tank is fairly new (started in March) but all of my other corals (a variety of softies and LPS) lick happy and unbothered. I’m wondering if anyone can tell what it was by the pictures. Feeling very nervous as this is my first lost coral and I have 2 other ricordeas (Florida) that I’m very fond of!
