I've had this zoa colony for about a week and it hasn't fully opened yet. I have been watching it closely to see if I can spot a reason. Yesterday we noticed these green neon dots. I tried to get some close ups under different lighting. I have two separate areas on the same rock. Also if anyone has an ID for this zoa, let me know. This zoa colony hasn't been happy since we got it. On the rock is a large colony of this zoa (with the closed/pinched) polyps and a small group that looks different colors but is fully opened. These will fully close at night and only partially open in the light.

So on the rock I see the zoas but also looks like possibly some favia and the little green encrusting ones do look like galaxia. I could be off in my naming but both of those corals have sweeper tentacles and can and will at the least irritate other corals. If you want the zoas id frag them off that rock or if you dont want the othere corals id get them off the rock. Either way something needs to move.
