My pink zippers are acclimating oddly in my new tank. The ones around the outside open and look okay, while the center ones are closed up and extended. I am on the tail end of diatoms, and am dosing phyto, but nothing else unusual. My other Zoas range from looking totally fine to still trying to acclimate.

It could be that tail end of diatoms causing the issues. If the diatoms are irritating the Zoas, it could be causing them to stay closed or partially closed.

Good thing I’m not seeing any new diatoms popping up anymore!

I’ll dust off the zoa garden with a turkey baster to help it along faster until the CUC strolls by (they’ve been busy on the rock).
