I have a zoa colony I got from the lfs about a month ago and it looked great when I got it. It was about 10 dollars and I had it in my 11 gallon. When I put it in, it looked fine. It was open. I had it on the sands then I moved it to the rock work and it was kind of close and it didn’t look very good. I also in the tank had a Palya in the Gallaxia coral and both of those Weren’t doing very well either they were staying close most of the time in the galaxy coral was receding. I just recently lost the Gallaxia coral and the Zoe Cole had an opened in for about like three weeks now I haven’t seen a single head open. I added a bunch of macroalgae and posting Xenia and and waving hands and a few other soft corals, and all the soft corals pushing Xenia in the macro, Algy seem to be thriving no issues whatsoever so today I decided to move my Zoe to the new to my new tank and it’s still closed. I moved it to the sand. I just have the lights on pretty blue and a few warm lights. I just put it on the sand bed with a low par. What am I doing wrong. Parameters in both tanks are all in check said the fish store.
