This particular Zoas haven't been opening for several weeks. The others have all been opening fine and acting normal.

About 24 second mark on the video you can see one of the critters running around. Any ID?

Also, what appears to be a half of a starfish fell off during the freshwater dip. Very odd.

More curious about the speedy bug running around.

The speedy one was an amphipod. They're great for your system and fish love to eat them. The other is an asterina starfish. A very common hitchhiker that for the most part is harmless. However, they can multiply like crazy if not kept in check :)

The half of a starfish was removed. Strange he was only half of a starfish.

We have a few in the tank. Can't tell the lady I threw him out though. She loves them. [emoji849]

+1^^ I would like to add with the asterina starfish besides them overpopulating, we had some that ate our zoas and palys. I would IMO remove the starfish to be safe
Yeah I had some that I'm sure were doing the same. I even pulled one off a live zoa once. They also ate all my coralline and reproduced like crazy. It took a major crash to eliminate them all. (hurray....)

They spread by growing more arms, I have seen up to 8 then they split their self in 2 so quite possible only 3 legs
