The back of my tank is a custom shell insert from theoceanbuilder dot com. Craig is an awesome artist and I also bought one for my kids tank. It works like live rock and i think the shells break apart (maybe) because my calcium is always above 440 without adding any.

Sheesh! What a collection you've got here! Makes me feel like my own collection is puny! Love those salted/cocaine agaves. Lots of CB morphs too.

What on earth is this one? We need more pics! :)

I enjoyed seeing your tank sir. I'm still fairly new to the reefing side of the hobby and currently chalices and zoas are my absolute favorite. It's great seeing so many in one place.

I do have a question though,

You mentioned you only run your 3 - 250watt halides for 3 hours a day and the rest is all actinic. Now, I'm not familiar with halides as I've really only dealt with t5's and leds, but does such a small white light cycle actually give you good growth?

Thanks for sharing!!

I'm fairly new at this also. A lot of people tell me my tank does really good and i think so too lol. I got the 3hr halide time from Victor of World wide corals and Richard Negret of Cornbred corals they both do halides on their main tanks for 3hrs.

Awesome tank, man! Amazing collection, love just about every piece you have in there.

Love the shells on the back wall...looks like an easy way to mount more corals.
