Zoa eating nudibranch infestation

I admit, I've sort of been neglecting my 28 gal tank and been focused on setting up my new 75 gal tank, I haven't really been looking in my tank as I should.

Few nights ago, I found a zoa eating nudibranch. since then, I've been finding and pulling about 5 a day. I inspect my zoas, and do not see any eggs.

of course, I want to make sure they're completely clear of the nudi's before I move them to the 75 gal tank next week or so.

I hear Freshwater dip is risky for Zoas.. should I try anyway?
I have ReVive and Reef Dip. Would either of these be OK to use, or should I get that worm exit and use that instead?

Thankfully I don't have too many corals to dip.

Mmmmm it's gonna be longer than a week or two. If you find five a day you have a pretty hard infestation. I think the egg cycle is eight to fifteen days. Trust me you have eggs.

Flatworm exit will probably become your new best friend

You can also bayer dip . If the zoas are closed look for more nudis on them also while closed look for the eggs . Here is a shot of what I found in my tank a while back .

I will get the flatworm exit and give that a shot.

any way I can treat the tank/rocks while I am trying to get rid of them? I can treat the corals, but how about the entire tank?

Not sure about the whole tank because I just dip mine now in the bayer dip . I will say if you find eggs take them out of the tank and take tweezers and gently scrape the eggs off . I stress gently and yes it can be done without harming the zoas .

Bayer Dip all Your Zoanthids Multiple Times.

Keep Checking for Nudi's and Eggs too.

Bayer Dip them Also.

I have never heard of anybody using Flatworm Exit on Nudi's.

There have been many people that Used Flatworm Exit (As much as 10 Times the Recommended Dose) and it Didn't Take Care of the Flatworms.

Get a 6 Line Wrasse.

They are Amazing Pest Eaters.

I Keep One in Every Tank.

If you're looking for Bayer, you should go to a Home Depot or Lowes. Bayer Complete Insect Killer. Silver label.

Bayer is at Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, etc.

Get Soil and Turf Bayer.

Ask recommended dosage people are using . Make sure to rinse in tank water in two differnt containers . 15 minute dip and 15 minute rinses . This stuff will kill inverts . Rinse rinse rinse .

Google will turn up plenty of results using flatworm exit to kill nudi's. It worked for me too.

I found out about flatworm exit in google too. people seem to have good results with it as well

I went to Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart (ugh), and did not find the Bayer anywhere. any other places I can look before I give up and order flatworm exit?
