Zoa id

[Lazys Coral House]

I can’t recall the name of the Zoa. Anyone recognize it?

I went through a few pages here to try, but you can browse more or hope someone recognizes them:

I went through that website and didn’t see any of that matched. Hopefully someone on here will notice them.

I’m pretty familiar with zoas going back to 2010/12 or so. That looks wholly unique. You’d think vampire family but the mouth and detailing around it is unusual.

Sorry, I can't ID them for you, but they are nice, healthy, and unique!

That was my first thought as well:

I have vamps in drag and they don’t look anything like what I posted. Here are my vamps

It doesn’t fit the bill of anything immediately recognizable, I think most folks looking can agree on that.

Def not a vamp in drag but as I suggested probably part of the vampire family as it’s got that red/orange ring sandwiched with that yellow/green at the edge of the median before the skirt.

Here’s an example from 2016 of the varieties Darwin/Legendary corals was offering, some are similar but no matches.

What really makes it interesting is the detail around the mouth, the way the pattern is breaking in the middle (on some) all the way up to and including that first ring and, the green skirt.

It’s not a maul nor likely from the reverse hall/sticker shock family.

I had a heavily morphed OG daisy daisy Duke go from this:

To this:

So it’s quite possible it’s a one off or something that perhaps morphed heavily. That said, with its unique characteristics it’s a very nice one to have.
