I got this single head of what sold as a wowser zoa
I wanted to know what do you guys think


And whether it's toxic or not

Not all species of zoanthids contain palytoxin, but in general I treat them all as if they do. Use gloves and eye protection if you’re fragging them, remember not to touch your eyes/mouth/face after handling them, etc… Just always take precautions when working with them, rather be safe than sorry.

Those do look like wowsers, imo.

I'd do that from now on for sure!

Anyway, it would be nice to know for sure if anyone knows whether this stain contains palytoxin or not.

I’m pretty sure they all contain it. The captive/colorful strains tend to have little amounts though and are vertically harmless. Wild types are the only really deadly ones though. Either way, treat it like it’s toxic.
