Sorry - would someone be so kind as to ID these zoas? A local in home coral shop gave them to me a couple of months ago when I bought a few things. They were ugly when I got them but have since popped in color in addition to a new polyp.

Guessing they are common (but I cannot seem to find a name looking around online) since he just gave them to me but I’d love to know what they are called.

These are a common zoa (Or at least I've seen many photos of them in reefs) so hopefully you can get an answer.

If you don't go to zoanthids.com and spend some time browsing through photos.
