I got a small rock that had a teeny zoa frag on it along with a feather duster and what seems like an aiptasia. The last few days I have been renovating my room a bit so I have not been paying much attention to my tank besides maintenance and feeding. However, today I noticed my zoa is totally gone with not a single trace of it left. The only inhabitants in my tank are a clown, chromis, scooter blenny, coral banded shrimp, scarlet hermit, and emerald crab. I figure it might be my emerald, but he has left the coral alone, the only time he’s been near any of my frags was when he was munching on a spaghetti worm that settled underneath one, but that’s on the opposite side of the tank where my zoa was. What could have happened?

Zoas can and do "melt" from time to time. I wouldn't necessarily blame any of the inverts unless the zoa was already on its way out.
