I’ve had these zoas for 2 months now. For about three weeks after I got them they started to open up. However in the past 4 days this specific polyp has been shut and covered in some sort of red slime at the opening. It’s also losing mass and getting skinnier. The other polyps are acting normal.

Looks like cyano and algae are irritating them. My suggestion would be to do a H2o2 dip.

You may want to look into refragging along with dipping. Be careful with the peroxide. They will continue to stay closed after treatment due to shock.
Some water parameters can affect one zoa while others flourish.

Dipped the zoas a few hours ago. They polyps are all open except for the one that had red slime in its mouth. All the cyano is gone, but it was apparently covering some sort of red algae, which fluoresces orange under actinic lighting.
