About 2 weeks ago my zoanthids were looking great. I notice they started to look different than all the others and then it closed up. Along with with other of the same colony closing up now. They are not fully closed though. They have their little fingers sticking out but thats about it. I’m wondering if it’s a bacteria maybe. Also my acros are doing fine but my montis are getting a little brown.

Water parameters
Salinity: 34
Ammonia: 0
Nitrate: 0
Phosphate: .5
Alkalinity 12 which I know is a little high
Calcium: 460
PH: 8.3
Lighting hydra 26hd running at 53w

Any help would be appreciated.

Yea your alk is high for no nitrate. Also what test kits are you using? Api is not accurate.
.5 phosphate is concerning in general. I’d look into some chemipure elite (gfo) for that.
Knowing your magnesium is also important to make sure your macros are in balance.

Feed more good frozen food, not pellets, cool it with the reef roids until your phosphates come down to acceptable ranges.

Yea I’m using API. I’ll look into a better test kit. Any suggestions? I have gfo being delivered this week.
