My googling and searching aren't coming up with answers, but I think that's just because Zoas do a bunch of weird things. Any thoughts on what weird thing this is? It looks like the foot (probably not actually a foot) is coming out through their mouths. But not stretching like they want more light, although maybe?

looks like a pretty fresh frag job. maybe still acclimating. how long ago was it fragged or how long have you had it?
Yeah, I'd say that's true. I've had it 1 week. Got it from very good LFS fragged off a large colony. Fragger did me no favors though. Ugly ugly job. Must've used half a tube of glue.

They opened up beautifully in this spot for the first 4 days, then started doing this.

I'm not too concerned. I was patient with my other zoa colonies as they did something similar and they eventually figured themselves out. I'm just having fun interacting with this community and I keep experiencing interesting things that I can't find answers to!
