It is connected only thru WiFi.

Unplug the power from the control module and the EB8.

Disconnect the USB from the EB8

Power the control module back on

Power the EB8 back on

Plug thebisb into the EB8

I don’t have a separate ac power plug for the base unit. USB cable is plugged into base unit and other end of that usb is plugged into eb8 and eb8 is then plugged into power outlet.

Did all of above and not working. In apex website and doing hard (factory) reset. Hope that works. But will have to reprogram everything.

Gotta go and do the walk through on the house now before closing tomorrow morning. Giving up on the apex for now. Did a hard reset but now it won’t connect to the internet. Got an ink bird heater controller hooked up to the heater for now. Tank is down to 74 degrees. Return pump is on and one power head. They are not on the apex. I have a love hate relationship with electronics

This type of scenario has always been my reservation with Apex and hydros. All of my stuff is individually controlled and it's working well

Closing on the house went well. We now own 2 houses. Then we went to Home Depot and got smoke/fire alarms cause there were none. All removed but we knew that before hand. Got them all installed. House has keypad entrance , so changed the codes. Right after returning home we get a text from realtor saying seller forgot to get her modem and went to the house to get it but code was changed and she couldn’t get in ,so would we give new code to get in. W. T. F.?? This is no longer her house she can’t go in without our permission!! So glad we changed the code already. Finally said we would give code to her realtor and he had to be there to let her in. Changing the code again tomorrow when we go there. What’s wrong with people?!

My apex goes wonky some times when I have a power outage.. I have mine hooked up from wifi also and I’ve been lucky enough to just unplug the usb from the brain for 30 seconds and plug it back in and then it reboots and everything works.

Haven’t touched the apex yet, been so busy with the house stuff. Plugged thing in outlets so tank is good for now.

At the house most of the day today. New furnace, garage door and opener all being installed today.
