Are you dosing anything, and if so, why?

3 part Aquaforest, Mg, Ca, and KH and necessary trace elements. It has given me very consistent levels for several years. More like balling method but no refugium required like the Triton method.

I dose Alk and Ca via a Dastaco Calcium reactor, add magnesium as needed and then based on my salt and water changes have to add a bit of strontium, potassium and iodine as indicated via ICP, with consecutive ICP and dosing the same brands I came to know amount to dose daily to maintain levels. i sometimes notice drifts of some elements and correct them accordingly without crazy number chasing.

I'm new to dosing. I notice many hobbyists are using All for Reef. I've never used it before. I'm just curious if dosing it can hurt my tank in anyway. I will post a pic of my parameters for reference.

Dosing was the game changer for me in this hobby. Started dosing one month ago. I now daily dose AFR, NeoNitro and NeoPhos by hand with hopes of automating it in the future. No water change since I started, however, plan is 10% every other week after an ICP soon.

Have been testing ALK, NO3, PO4, CA alot in the last month.

I have a few LPS but mostly softies and macroalgae. My calcium and alk consumption are low. I used to replenish with water changes but have cut down on those as the tank is very stable coming on its 8th year. For that reason I have switched to AFR which is working well.

Seriously no one?
More commonly known as hydric acid. I would advise against it. Fish do like it but it is known to be corrosive and is fatal when inhaled. Furthermore it contributes to the erosion of our beautiful landscape and is a major component of acid rain.
For safe handling please refer to the materials data sheet:
