I've only seen them listed for sell at a few places, but i'm not a clam expert.

It is a Maxima. Here is one of the few pics i can find online.

Cool I've been thinking about a clam. Now I want one of those. Which probable means they're pricey.

ORA has black maximas every once in a while. I think you are looking at 300+ for a clam.

Well here is the best pic I can get of the one I picked up. I currently only have a 50mm lens, so i'll have to see if I can borrow another one to get a beter picture later.

I had a maxima that was black and blue.....But I killed it being less then careful with Kalk.....:( I could still cry over that one. I paid almost $300 for it....I will try and see if I can find a pic of it...

Looks great in the tank Brandon. If possible get that baby up in the rocks - maximas prefer to be in the rocks from what I have read. The smaller ones like more light as well. Just stuff I have read - looks sweet - the color deff got darker under your lighting. Glad you got it!

It is so hard to find any blue clam in my area that isn't a Crocea (even those are hard to come by). Gold Tear Drops Maximas are fairly common though.
