Thank you, lol. I have bad eyes, so it is hard to read the numbers. Yeah, It is only for saltwater.That’s 1.027, as long as your refractometer is one specifically designed for saltwater, where calibration with RODI should be ok.
What make is it? You can make a diy salinity calibration solution, to be sure, if you are interested;Thank you, lol. I have bad eyes, so it is hard to read the numbers. Yeah, It is only for saltwater.
I have used this recipe before it works great. Makes a lifetime supply too haha.What make is it? You can make a diy salinity calibration solution, to be sure, if you are interested;
And it’s silly cheap, I like cheapI have used this recipe before it works great. Makes a lifetime supply too haha.
I feel your pain with bad eyes, I have a hard time reading those things.Thank you, lol. I have bad eyes, so it is hard to read the numbers. Yeah, It is only for saltwater.
I will buy some. I have no idea where my bottle I had went off too. I can use tap water in the meantime.Typically salinity refractometers will not give accurate results when calibrated off of rodi or distilled water. Do you have any refractometer calibration solution?
This is the refractometer I have. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07ZHZY2J1?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_titleWhat make is it? You can make a diy salinity calibration solution, to be sure, if you are interested;
LOL, I just made a post regarding how much I like not having to calibrate the TM HydrometerIn doubt i use Tropic Marin hydrometer at 25c in my 5 gallons wc or in sump... and calibrate my refracto whit it.
I still had to zoom in to read it.Thank you, lol. I have bad eyes, so it is hard to read the numbers. Yeah, It is only for saltwater.
That gives me an idea, if I can take a pic like the OP did and blow it up I will actually be able to read my RefractometerI still had to zoom in to read it.
Yup ! No more doubt on something so basic and "kind of" importantLOL, I just made a post regarding how much I like not having to calibrate the TM Hydrometer
No not this oneI checked my hygrometer and it is reading about the same, lol. Should have used that too.
See my edit.Anyone you suggest? My LFS had a few
I’d be using a calibration solution with that one, tbhThis is the refractometer I have. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07ZHZY2J1?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
