I didn't know if they still made vipers. I saw on the news that dodge had been destroying vipers a while back.

Ohh yea theres no doubt that they are gorgeous cars. I think the Challenger looks wicked but , I believe the fastest one ive seen run this year at track night was a Srt-8 that had a tune and header exhaust combo and it was a high 13 second. My brother has a SS Camaro that runs low 12's so we have bets to see if any of the dodge's will actually ever beat him, all in good fun.

Had a salesman at Dodge tell my father not to let me buy a SRT Challenger because I would wrap it around a pole in 3 months. My father said "he has been driving a mustang for 6 years what difference would that make?" the guy said "It is a completely different machine" My dad had no reaction but sarcastic laughter in the guys face and walked away. I obviously was on another side of the lot during this convo, unfortunately.

What do you guys think about Tesla? I actually love them, I am interested to see them come out with a smaller performance oriented electric motored car. The P85 is awesome.

Those '03 cobras are awesome cars. I worked at Manley performance and worked on the line building connecting rods for them. Just before I left the first batch of gt500 rods were coming down the line. I still have one of the "rejects" laying around somewhere.

This is what i have been up to this week...

70MPH Water Pump seizure. Boy did those people behind me get mad. I covered about 6 cars in nice Dodge orange coolant. Of course all with a back seat full of boxed up fish while on my way to UPS. Sorry to all those that didn't get fish last Friday.

Nothing fancy... No exotics here. This is my Daily driver. The other one is set up for autocross and is not that comfortable to drive 100 miles a day and in traffic.

Hit up good 'ol Amazon and all the goodies arrived yesterday...

Started taking the thing apart today. Only a couple hours, but what i saw was horrendous! lol

Dream car is a BMW Alpina Z8. Current car is a 2011 maxima. Hoping the wife will let me get rid of it soon and trade it in on a BMW. Would like to get a 328d to save some money on gas. I calculated that at current prices I would save over $1000 a year. That would get me a couple of those expensive corals everyone is complaining about

I was hoping to see the Cuda come out and be a little more inline with the mustang and Camaro are but it never happened. I love all three cars though and don't have anything bad to say about any of them. I'd own all 3 in a perfect world.

That is one sharp Challenger. They have lots of room compared to the others. They claim you can seat 4 in the mustang but there's no was unless its small children in the back. Plus the challenger has the power to compete but man are they heavy I think it out weighs the rest by like 1000lbs. If they shed that weight they'd be wicked fast

I was ready to go look at them a month ago, than I decided I have other priorities. I still didnt receive my CPA exam score. Needles to say I am glad I did not end up with the car payment since now that affords me the chance to study more since I stopped working... But hopefully that will bring me to a new V in the future.


If you end up in one definitely post up some pics! My father has been eyeing them and trying to find excuses it seems to get a V. They bought a regular CTS and it rides great. Love when people bash Caddy because its "american". Its hilarious when people bash american cars in general.

The Audi S4 is praised for being fast, the current gen is a 6 with a supercharger putting out 333hp. See whats funny about that, is people praise that. Yet talk down about v6 american cars like say v6 mustang and camaros that put out close to that N/A... Even though an Audi interior is fabulous.

This post got me to thinking about American six cylinders. This morning I drove past a Buick grand national. They can say what they want about American v6 all they want.... But find an stock 83 model import that will turn a 13.7 quarter mile.

Cars are my other passion, besides aquariums. I have a '10 Camaro SS. It 's a fun sleeper. Kept it completely stock outside, but threw a supercharger on it and drag it on a regular basis. 592 hp at the wheels. Best et on street tires is 11.02 @ 127.
I think I picked the 2 most expensive hobbies I could find. lol. My wife is very understanding in regards to my expensive obsessions. She's a keeper.
