Feeding the tank:

This is how i prepare my daily food for the tank ,Step bij step (of course normally without exactly weighting all ingredients, i just grab some out of the freezer).

i start withsome random deepfreeze food , total 30-40 gram

all goes into the bottle (minus the bottle weight)

This goes in also, both one full spoon

Don't try this at home ....

That is my advice for anyone who don't have full control over his water quality.
i have manage to control my water parameters in such a way i can afford to do this.
Not any tank can take this kind of feeding without consequence.

Besides the manual feeding there are 2 feeding timers filled with SPS and LPS food
Each timer can feed twice per 24hours
the fist feed at 6:00 and 18:00
the second feed at 0:00 and 12:00
besides that is is possible to feed randomly bij pressing a button.

I thought I fed a lot. I believe you can feed as much as you want as long as you are consistent.

i can do this because i have full control over my tank water parameters, i took the challenge to introduce NPS in a normal mixed reef with Soft corals / SPS / LPS.

The artemias are the way to go! My fish were on crack when I put those guys in there. Love your setup you have for that!

Do you separate the unhatched cysts from the live artemias? Or just let the bottle flow? I like to strain mine out as the unopened shells can damage fish gastro tracts

Newly hatched Artemia are healthy for live stock, they contain high grade of nutrients, thats why they are the best food for breading young fry.
Those anthias goes crazy in here also.

I love to keep it Plain and simple!... cost nothing... not even much time or effort....
