had a slight disaster.....plumbing leaked and sump drained to two inches. lost all my gorgonias except my yellow finger. ): very upset as they are my favorite coral.

I've purchased a 60g cube that will be home to a rhinopias and a large snowflake eel that will be a display fuge of sorts. throwing around the idea of putting some nps coral in there with the low lighting and all the macro to compensate for the food.

another tank build thread to come soon!

wow what a week! fixed my plumbing then I wake up the next morning to a 93 degree sump and my return pump off. so, LUCKILY the display was sitting at 78 degrees still. went and replaced both of them. -.-

You mentioned earlier in the thread about possibly getting a harlequin shrimp but then i noticed you had a couple of amazing looking starfish in there. I am still a total newb in the hobby but i definitely remember reading that harlequin shrimp feed exclusively on starfish. If you did add the harlequin have you had any issues with it eating your cool starfish? Like I said I'm still very green to the hobby so this question may be a dumb one but I figured I would ask anyway lol.

yep! Harley's don't eat serpent stars....or I guess tend not too. they go for the sucker feet which serpents and brittles don't have. I have chocolate chips in my sump for him, and I'll throw him an asterina whenever I find one.

my recent glass shrimp apparently didn't acclimate well and died ):

replaced him with the same species, just different color. he wanted to hitch a ride today while I scraped the glass.

as you can see I have a spirorbid worm problem. not like it's an actual problem, but they're EVERYWHERE. I have to scrape my glass more because of them, not algae. they're even growing on my zoanthid stalks!
