I like the way the corner mouldings compliment your columns in the tank. Very nice touch!

+1 - Great job pulling it all together!

Thank you Tim! I am hoping to have it completely finished by the 1st. I'll be posting more pics as it comes along. The canopy has to be trimmed off the tank except for the crown. Nailguns, even brad nailers and the tank do not mix lol. The canopy will be removed at 5pm when the t5s go off and i will be working through the night that day ;)

Well the heck with it! I am working on the stand today. Cleaning, cookies and deserts will be done tomorrow.

Trimming doors, doing slideout column (this will be a pain) and the rest of the trim. I want the stand done and ready to putty and paint by the end of the day.

Everything is just so nice. How many of these have you put together before. This cannot be your first rodeo. :)

Thanks! I built my last stand but did it in a rush... wasn't fond of it. But I've built several canopies before.

The layout of this stand was my design. Glenn built the frame and skinned some of it. I did the rest. The canopy (still in progress) is also my design. Glen built the box but the top center has a 1" raised cut out (10"x18") for a vent which can't be seen. The canopy will be in similar fashion but with crown at the top.

I love to build ;)

Crown done and where we're at now
uploadfromtaptalk1417274972041.jpg

We're now adding some deco trim. Then we will be doing the door trim and the rest of the work will be done after it's back on the tank. No lights have been on for 24 hrs and the tank is losing heat.

Thank you Todd!!! That means a lot coming from a professional cabinet guy such as yourself :D wish I could've done it with all the same wood though (not much to choose from in my neck of the woods). I would be staining it other than painting.... I am hoping to have it completely finished by Christmas :)

Nice looking woodwork Jackie!

Thank you Chris!

The canopy is on the tank!!!!!! But I'm going to go get 1 last piece of trim for the last door. Wouldn't you know i will have to drive 30 minutes one way for a 31" piece of trim... ugh.

Still have to hook the lights back up and put handles on the doors. When I am done with that I'll do some puttying. Sand and prime i may do tomorrow.
