The roller always takes more coats. I find the spray cans to be most efficient (not in your living room of course haha)3 coats of Rustoleum Ultra Cover with a smooth foam roller and it still isn't pure black. Looks like it will end up taking 5-6 coats to be perfectly black.
At least the ugly part is in the back which I will never see!Should be fine just ugly to look at
Pvc looks cleaner and will stand the test of time better than flex. On the flip side, flex is easier to cut and work with. The choice is personal at that pointJust finished the 1st coat of appliance epoxy in the stand.
As for plumbing trying to decide whether I go PVC or flex pipe (like the pool hose). Thoughts?

That really depends. I'd go with pvc being quieter as it's moving around less. After doing so many systems I tend to go pvc for the drains and flex for the return. I like having the ability to,move the return pump without disconnecting anythingIn your experience which is quieter?
Ok that's kinda what I was leaning towards. That really depends. I'd go with pvc being quieter as it's moving around less. After doing so many systems I tend to go pvc for the drains and flex for the return. I like having the ability to,move the return pump without disconnecting anything
I didn't even hear that, yours seems dead silent! My sumps in the basement so the only noise I have is from the anti syphon hole on the return pipe trickling in the overflow.
