Question:
Okay, so say we have an SPS frag that has branches on opposite sides, would the 2" mark be from base to the tip of one of the branches or would it be from tip of branch to the tip of branch.
Here are two examples of what I mean. (Not my entry or my coral)

Would it be from tip to tip or...

Example Coral.jpg

Would we measure each branch individually and if each complies with the 2" it's eligible, because the frag I was planning on using is similar to this one.
Example Coral 2.jpg

Thanks!

Got my Frags all picked out and setup in the best of possible placed in my tank. I have some Super green Zoas that spread like wildfire in my tank. I am NOT using those although they are pretty.

1. Un-named acan of some sort. I think it is and acan Lord.
2. Un-named Acropora - this thing is under 1/2" so lots of growth potential
3. some Zoas I fragged off that I will not name yet. but they are killers.

I asked that question in this thread and was told as long as the frag is not over 2" from side to side, and over 2" high it's good. So you can enter a 2" wide and 2" tall frag.

I also had another question, are Palys allowed in the Zoa contest? Or is it strictly Zoas?

Okay, last question, lol.
Does the lighting the picture is taken under matter or can we take the pictures under actinics if the coral, date and ruler are clearly visible?

I will enter in the acro contest. I'm also willing to donate my piece at the end of the contest for a good purpose. Maybe we can do a donation thing at the end?

So I am assuming that the frags needs to be freshly cut correct? or can i cut them now let them heal and then just glue them down to a frag plug with the magic word and something with a date? Also seeing that stags ae quick growers how does this get judged against something more colorfull and a slow grower? I did read the rules but there are some questions that still need clarification. I am looking forward to the contest.
