Wrasses I am Think of: want 2 out of these 4 possibly

Found this chart on here and only one I cant seem to find in the box is the Christmas Wrasse. Seems like the Rhomb & Dusky would be a good combo

i cant think

this chart is only for the Cirrhilabrus genus, the Dusky (Margined) Wrasse and “Christmas” Wrasse (depending which species you want as this name covers 3 different wrasses that are all varied in aggression) aren’t in this genus.

The Rhomboid would work, but don’t fall into the trap of “super males” they are just normal males but at the end of their lifespan. Opt for a young male or female for all wrasses as their life spans are already somewhat short compared to other fish we own.

Red Head Solon (C. aquamarinus) may be too aggressive but this is a species which can be really peaceful or on the boisterous side.

Christmas Wrasse, as I said above, this name covers 3-4 different species;
Halichoeres biocellatus
Halichoeres ornatissimus
Thalassoma trilobatum

The Thalassoma species is too aggressive and may be too active for your tank in general.
The Ornatissimus I don’t believe we can get as they’re a Hawaiian endemic species.
The Biocellatus however, this is the one I would opt for. This is because they’re overall peaceful and are one of the smaller species of Halichoeres wrasse only maxing out around 3.5-4 inches.

I love Gonis and Euphyllia. Maybe too much

Dusky might go after your shrimp and anemone crab once it matures.

I second a leopard wrasse if you can get a healthy one.

I think a rhomboid and a Halichoeres biocellatus or claudia would go great in that tank (and a leopard as well, maybe a Macropharyngodon meleagris).
