Any DIY or store bought solutions for this odd skimmer drain outlet on NYOS 160? I just have a kinked hose that comes out of it. Less than ideal. Was hoping someone else came up with or found a solution.

I currently have an Eshopps S-200 skimmer (or whatever the comparable model was in late 2015) that's just never performed very well. It's currently in a sump under a 240 FOWLR, and I'm wondering if it's undersized. I constantly battle nitrates even though I only have 5 fish and an eel...
