Propagating Orange Tree Sponge: can I simply cut and glue?!

My orange tree sponge looks healthy: great color, upright, strong, healthy tissue. I do not like looking at the plug it came in on. The sponge would be more attractive encrusted to live rock. So, can I cut it and gel superglue it to an indent in the live rock? Also, if i leave an inch of the...

What is this Orange glowing critter

I just noticed this orange glow under the night lights of my aquarium. It’s extremely difficult to get a good picture of it under any lighting. It is located at the bottom of a base rock. it has orange polka dots around a dark middle part. It doesn’t move at all either. Super curious as to what...

    Purigen - new bottle is orange-ish, wet-ish, & clumpy-ish?

Hi all, I bought a 250ml bottle of Purigen. It's sort of orange and damp and clumpy. Is this normal for Purigen? I feel like when I bought the last bottle it was more white and more-or-less dry. Thanks!

The amphipods in my fuge have been turning orange the last 2 weeks, and now about 45% of the large adults are orange. I have no idea why this is happening. Yellow/orange Acropora

There are some crazy pictures of yellow and orange Acropora on the internet. Maybe I am colorblind but I have yet to see a true yellow Acropora in person. Online it is often hard to tell because everyone is using PS or camerafilters. So I'm talking >yellow to the eye under blue LED< no cheats...

    Hitchhiker crab

I found this crab a couple month back as probably 1/4 the size that it is right now( it's now about an inch). I first found it on a bubble coral and right now I just caught in on my Duncan coral. If anybody knows if this type of crab is harmful or if it's not a big deal please let me know thanks.
