oveflow

I’m looking to drill my 40g breeder but I was curious what overflows people recommend. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I have a proclear 230 aquarium. It has 2 standpipes in the overflow at the same height, so no emergency overflow. They both have ball valves on them in the sump. I want to add a reefmat 1200 to the tank, so I'm thinking I have a few options. Which do you think would be best? 1) add ~1 inch...
