Any clue if these are GSP or something else?

I noticed these guys the other day on a piece of rock. They sort of look like GSP but they don’t have the purple crust like GSP and they are more white with a very light hint of green on the tips of the tentacles I do have GSP in my tank and they are sort of similar to the smaller ones I can...

Tiny "hairy" invert, non-mobile but spreading

Really curious what these are. I've searched the internet on and off endlessly over the past few months to no avail. One or two has turned to a couple dozen and I'm wondering whether I need to take action. They haven't died off like pineapple sponges usually do. They look like a cross between a...

    What are these white tentacles?

I recently purchased a nice purple nephthea coral and just now noticed these white tentacles that have grown from the rock since I got it. I don’t remember seeing them when I put it in the tank so I’m pretty sure they’ve grown over the past month. Very curious as to what these are/ this is?

Can someone help me figure out what’s wrong with my torch

I’ve had this torch coral for about 4 months now and recently has been looking like this. It looks like the head of the torch is showing and it’s almost pushing itself out to show its head rather than the thick tentacles covering it. My two other torches are doing just fine and have thick...

What’s your favorite type of LPS coral? Why?

I know a lot of people love SPS corals, and they are great. But I love LPS corals. They provide so much movement and color in a reef tank and are so diverse. I love their sweeping tentacles and large polyps. I love watching euphyllia heads split. I love their feeding responses. Which is your...

Clear tentacles coming out of my coral?

I just noticed two little clear tentacles coming out of the base of one of my corals. They are kind of thick and have darker tips. Are they sweeper tentacles? I was under the impression that they would only come out at night. Also, they sway around with the current, if that helps. Thanks for the...

    Torch Tissue Receding/Torn

Today I woke up to the tissue on my torch looking like it receded or that the tentacles have been ripped. My first thought was brown jelly disease so I immediately removed it and did an iodine dip. Afterward i took a baster to it and sucked off any loose tissue. There wasn't any but then it made...

    Is my torch ok?

I recently got a torch coral. It is my first coral and I am trying to do everything right. I acclimated it yesterday through the drip method then used dip and checked all over for eggs and stuck on hitchhikers. I placed it in the tank and it was closed up. Over night it opened up and is still...
