Bubble algae on tridacna shell removal?
Hello everyone, I recently noticed that one side of my giant clams shell has been 3/4 covered with bubble algae. Should i remove the rock with the clam in a bucket and scrape it off, or is there a better/safer way?- NicholasP

What’s the deal with clams RN?
Have been shopping around for some nicer clams for a while now, even online they seem to be hard to find lately & expensive (besides plain derasas or low grade maximas)… Almost impossible to find nice squamosas or croceas - Does anyone in the know - know why? Squamosa clam stopped opening
I’ve had this beautiful Squamosa clam for a little over two weeks. So far it’s been looking healthy and opening consistently, until yesterday. It closed up in the AM and stay shut all day. Started to open this morning but shut again maybe 30 minutes after the lights came on. No fish bothering...- LagoonReefLife

Where did you get your clam from
For those that have clams, where did you get it from? Pacific East Aquaculture, Clam Mania, or an LFS? -
Emergency: Derasa Clam Detached Hinge
Hopefully someone here can help out! I woke up yesterday to find my LARGE Derasa clam had managed to somehow detach its hinge. Wild collected Maxima worth trying?
There's a Maxima clam at the LFS that I'm into. It's about 7". Judging from the size, this is definitely a wild collected one. Does anyone have any idea if it looks healthy? It is reacting well to shadow. The mantle extension isn't as much as farmed one's but I understand that's typical with... -
