    Worm ID

Been trying to ID this worm on the side of a rescue coral. It is a hard shell with the mouth on the left side. I think the coral is a torch, but still recovering. The coral has white milky stuff coming off every few days.

Strange worm, almost looked like filter feeder/alien lol please ID

I was watching my rock flower nems (because I keep hoping for spawning) and saw this thing, i thought it was one of my brittle starfish at first, but you can see one of the starfish legs above it so I know it's not that. Plus it moved like a worm? And like folded into itself, also it almost...

Worm thing embedded in open brain skeleton

I’ve been trying to figure out why this coral is dying and the rest of my tank is fine. I’m thinking it has to be a pest or something. I just noticed this fuzzy worm playing peek-a-boo. It has a fuzzy looking body with a more compact “head”. These are the best pictures I could get. I figured...

Free floating worms off gulf coast, id?

Hello everyone! Recently was able to get some sand off the Florida coast and was planning on putting it in my current seed tank. I was wondering if these free floating worms were detritus worms? They’re not too quick and are attracted to light. Thanks!

HELP! White Jelly-like worms taking over sump and refugium.

What is this infestation? It’s contained in my sump and especially my refugium for now, but I’m afraid my display is next. I assumed flatworms, but they just look a bit different than the pics I saw online. They are also fairly firm/hard and do not squirm or move when touched. ID anyone? Good...

    Worm in sandbed identification

I have been setting up a small NPS tank with my Fluval Evo 13.5 and recently noticed a small red object in the sand bed. At first I thought it was just a left over piece of Gracillaria or something but I took a closer look earlier because I noticed it had moved and realized it has lots of little...

    Suspected Eunice worm

Hello good people of R2R, I have what I think is a Eunice worm in my tank but would love to hear that I am wrong. What lives on fire shrimp exoskeleton?

My Fire Shrimp had a normal molt and for fun I looked at the old exoskeleton under my microscope. Is there a way to find out what sort of things live on a shrimp normally? Or if some of these little guys just live in the saltwater in general? Interested if anyone has good resources or knowledge...

Yet another weird worm: White/Gray body with black stripes, black tail
