Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
gulp... he wants $5000....i realize everything separately cost way more than that. and hes already taking a big loss. but it seems like stuff just doesnt hold its value very well or something. just trying to decide whether to make him an offer or dont bother and keep looking....

Never hurts to make an offer that you are willing to pay. If he says no it’s the same as if you just walked away.

@luis angel and 00W , I think you missed my joke!
Remember that my English is not up for to much and I thought you had made a mistake when writing :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing::rolling-on-the-floor-laughing::rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

I make offers on stuff all the time.
Big bargain shopper here.
Most of the time it's a no but every once in a while....
Just never know.
That is a sweet setup.

yeah luis! exciting! you all are going to get sick of me asking about tanks :flushed-face: . but i cant swing a new set up so im keeping an eye on used. very hard to come by in my neck of the woods:confused:. but i found someone who is getting rid of a brand new set up. never had water in it. he just bought everything- tank, stand, rock, lights, sand, sump, return pump and all the plumbing and its been sitting in his house for a year. its a 150gallon starfire low iron glass tank. but hes wanting a pretty penny. thoughts? never have tried this make...
This tank that I bought now is used, in very good condition, it even has the nylon on the stand but I got it for $1000

i know... but dont you think thats kinda high? or is it just me? :thinking-face:
As Kevin says, try to make an offer that you feel comfortable paying, the tank that I bought now comes with a lot of things but I'm going to replace it over time so it seems to me that I'm spending about 1000 more, need rocks and sand to start

i know... but dont you think thats kinda high? or is it just me? :thinking-face:
Yes a bit high.
But everyone wants top dollar for EVERYTHING nowadays.
It's 80K for a used truck here.
It's all about what people will pay.

So my wife got to see the Orthopedic doctor today - not 1, not 2, but 3 fractures!
