Hey Guys, was hoping someone could recommend a good ATO brand it’s for a water box 90.3
Good morning carruthers, I have heard people like the tunze ones. I use a ecotech dosing pump to add my average daily evaporated water to my 300 and if I need more I manually add some. I have people tell me stories of how the eye on the ato sometimes fail, or they have to constantly check on them to prevent the ato from overfilling. As with anything there is always 3 sides to a story, the good, the bad and the other. Sorry I could not give you better advice, just did not want you hanging on a reply...

If you don’t have an ATO how often are you topping up. I’m losing about a 1/2 gal a day? It seems like a lot but I’m not leaking anywhere so I’m not sure if that’s normal.
ah perfect. if you kinda know your daily average then you could use a dosing pump and set it to dose a 1/2 gallon. I would dose less say maybe a quart and then see what your new average is.. and then increase it by a cup or so...

Okay yall im struggling. Im 100% overthinking this.

I got the RODI booster Aquatech 8800 for BRS RODI 100 GPD. Does this seem correct?
Waste is the one on the right going out. Watched BRS video and it seems this is how they did it but it doesn’t seem right.

Is the pump pulling water through out the entire system or is it pushing water through it faster?

Booster should boost the water going into the system so that the membrane works correctly. Most systems work between 50 to some 100 psi. Each system has different requirements for the membrane. Too little and it does not work, too much and the membrane will fail or tear. I do not see a gauge to measure the water pressure . My system is a Liqugen and the gauge is after the membrane so you can monitor it. I also have a tds meter before and after the system to measure TDs. I build a 7 stage system...

Another good example
Is your black line your waste line???
Here's my setup:

I see your red line is the water coming in and then traces back to the 1st stage sediment.

on my unit the black hose is where my water is coming in and it goes into here. it was preset with the hose adapter on the black line. The red line on the sediment filter does have a label “in” but waste water is coming out of here. I’m so confused lol

Good morning, did you try the lemon juice yet?
I haven’t had time to do the lemon juice. I have been super busy. I will do it this weekend.

I have the value plus system. I’m pulling like 15Psi without the pump. Hard to see but the gauge is behind the TDS meter. The system came preset up. (Sorry not home for better gauge picture lol)

ok...cool. just trying to help and give you answers(help) to your questions

Did you switch it that way from factory? What’s the grey knob below pump
That was original - black is typically waste line. Wil try to find set up diagram so you see what is recommended and post it
The booster pump should have had a page detailing hook up locations and I believe there are a few you tube videos giving step by step

Hopefully that didn’t ruin my system. Ran it this way a couple times.
