Is the frag glued into place? Take it out and brush it off with a toothbrush, rinse with RODI or a cup of tank water *don't put the water back in the tank lol* and replace the frag

Thank you. I will definitely do that. I don’t have a plugs (newbie). So for now I completely covered the aptasia with frag glue. I read that can work. At least until I get plugs.

Looks like it to me then. You can also pull the frag out, and while it's shrunken encase the living crap out of it in superglue

I meant put it back in it's spot when I said to replace it. Re-place it back into it's spot.

If it's me, I'm popping that coral off and putting it on another plug. They're too cheap and readily available to risk any part of that staying in your tank. Just my opinion

I use filter socks! I just took them out to clean them. I usually clean them 2-3 times a week but I only did 1 time last week and my nitrates shot up to 35ppm
