Long day today but decent. Just got home from the East side. Dinner and a Monk Movie coming up! It's leftover pizza, so definitely not exciting pictures, sorry...
I haven't watched monk in ages. I kinda want to rewatch it again

My notifications on the web based are also awful lately
I’ve been having problems for the last three days on my phone. I think it might be the site.
Maybe The smorgbord gang is bogging the system down.
Were too much for them to handle….lol

So, i went to a frag swap today! Or so i thought.... i drove 2.5 hours... get to some sketchy ish building, but it's a nice, well known town so can't be too sketchy... we go in. There's no signs or nothing about a frag swap but there are signs about the place we are supposed to go. We get up to the second floor where it's supposed to happen and then there's a random guy, skinny, late 60's maybe? Very eccentric. "Oh your here for the frag swap? Sign right in! Heres a note pad, name address and email!" We sign in, then he proceeds to tell us the frag swap was postponed because there were only 2 vendors that could make it (later learned this swap was only arranged like a week ago) but tells us all about the place, how it's all about the learning. I think its a non profit? He had like 8 good sized tanks, and one frag tank with zero frags in it.. says $25 to join(idk what I'm joining) and they can keep an eye out for deals and will call me to tell me when they find something. He also informed me he's an aquarium master and you become one of those by killing a lot of fish, spilling a lot of water, and getting lit up by stray voltage at least once.... needless to say, i wasn't impressed, he never let anyone know it was postponed and I saw a lot of people come in for the swap and heard him telling them to sign up as I walked out...

I stopped at every store on the way back and bought two hammer frags, 6 nassarius snails, and a frag rack so not a wasted day. Grammy and grampy watched the boy so mommy and I got to have a "date day" which was nice and we laughed about it after I got past the initial frustration lol

Heck yeah that’s what I’m talking about and reminds me of me looking for shops when on a longer journey. I haven’t taken any long journeys in a few years though and I’m cool with it.
I wouldn’t be caught dead in the nearest city near me. I would have a heart attack with road rage unfortunately.
If I can’t get there by a back country road then I don’t want to go.

You paid the man, right???

So I've spilled lots of water (I mean I work for the water department ...), killed (and eaten) lots of fish, and I've been lit up by stray voltage multiple times (wiring a fan, wiring a light switch, hit my watch on a white wire for a street light...). Am I an aquarium master?

That's great that you guys turned the day around and still had a good time!

I use to travel for work within the state so I drove wherever they sent me and I would always Google aquarium stores to stop at in the towns along the way back. Lol

Your telling me... im like "hun, I don't want to fight an old guy but if he follows us out to the parking lot, don't stop walking if I turn to talk to him.." seemed like a nice enough guy but jeez I dunno

I did not. Apparently there's another frag swap in March? And he's got someone from Apex coming out(mhmmmm) but I'll keep an eye out for that. We told him we would see what that ones all about before we signed up
