Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
@SaltySqueeble you will find we talk about a lot of things. Tacos, food, music, food, tailspot blenny's, food, food, music and them occasionally fish and corals and all the things that go with them.
Love that. Good times

been rough for a while. kids got sick and got me sick. think RSV. taking more meds now on top of the pile.
Sorry man. Hope you and the kids feel better soon!

I love that we talk about music I love finding new and old groups I have not heard of and trying them.
I've been leaning to Scandinavian/UK a lot. Of Monster and Men, Manchester Orchestra, Flogging Molly

Thanks Kev. What’s up folks, Steve here. Great community you all have in here. Was waiting for the prime time to chime in. This is my 2yr old 25 gallon mixed

Welcome Steve! Wow! This is amazing!

I'm Walker, it's nice to meet you!

they have a Bay to Breakers run every year in San Francisco. thousands upon thousands of tortillas are thrown all over waiting for the run to start. so many, you are standing in like 1/2" mush of tortillas. it gets pretty slimy.
But why do they throw tortillas?

So I'm going to lower my lights by 15%, because I noticed as my lights ramp down, my hammer extends a bit more. We'll see how well it works I guess.

Hey Walker. Thank you! I’m proud of it, but am completely out of room in there so will be upgrading or rearranging here soon.

I recently upgraded my 15g! I got into the hobby last janurary, and sure enough, this January I have a tank 145 gallons bigger! Didn't even take me a year.

When I got into saltwater almost a year ago I figured why not just start big and went with the 125 gallon I have. Lol

Wow that’s good jump. I have a 55gal with a nice stand I am considering using. I like the fact I can still use a 5 gallon bucket for WC, but always looking for something else to come up on FB or somewhere like that.

didn't take me a year to go big either. Just checked on these cuties since I haven'seen them in like a week. had to feel around for them and get them up. Have had them since July maybe? best sand sifters in there.

That’s what I should have done. But, Had no idea how well I would do and just really wanted to start something on a budget.

I also read when I started that smaller tanks were harder and then I found a great deal on my 125 and so I couldn't pass it up. LOL

Same here, I had the Biocube 32 for 10 or 11 months I think

I have been running very low par with one AI blade. Long ramp up to about 30%. Hammers always thrived, even when lights were ramping. Recently added a second blade, glow for more coverage. Turned down the whites and added the UV. Probably too bright now but much better spread and color. Algae on glass has gone up immensely.
