It means related by blood so in my opinion it could be same mother/father or half siblings with same mother or father and a different partner. Mine were same mother and father.

No kidding brother. My wife brings up SPECIFIC things too... like... "do you remember Sunday, June 3rd of such and such year, you said this"... I just look at her like a deer in the headlights or the look when I've had 3 too many!!

You can start dropping subtle hints a couple weeks before brother, see if that helps.
