Kev, I know you went to public school but those are nuggets, not fingers!

Today we went to some animal preserve. There were a lot of animals, we got to feed horses and pigs too. All of these were in pretty much this guy's backyard. There were lemurs, and some type of monkey I forgot the name of. Oh, and the world famous (literally) Bubba the alligator. Here are a few photos!

I feel you I'm in your shoes daily.
There is no real solution I can give you I've done them all.
I just put in a piece of Big Red and chew like mad.
Then I laugh and move on.

My neighbor is an electrician and he's hired 8 people in the last 2 months.
He has 2 left.
One guy he found on site asleep.
He asked him what he was doing and the guy said he was tired so he was taking a nap.
It was 10am lol.
Brian couldn't believe it.
Kid said he was up all night playing video games.

Yay I feel you, I’m often pondering getting back on crack train when I have a rough day. :winking-face:

I'm a large scale plumber, crack comes naturally.

Im lucky enough that as long as I don't buy them, I have zero problems. Now that I've properly quit for about 3 or 4 years, I seem to have better control. As soon as I buy a pack, I keep buying them until i quit again after a month or 2, but Ive found if I ever cave and buy some, I smoke 2,3,5 etc, I give the rest of the pack to my neighbor and I'm good. Habit does not start back up. I don't even think about out it again the next day. Today though, I didn't cave. I just muttered a lot lol

I had a technician that told me once: if you don't like this speed, you're going to hate the next.

Got to about 65 here today.
Just lovely.
If it was like this all the time I'd never leave.
Got the roses trimmed, car washed, patio furniture out,hose hooked up....
Probably snow tomorrow but it was nice today!

I feel bad complaining to the boss about every kid he sends me, so I'm trying to give this one an honest chance but I found him hiding playing on his phone yesterday, 1.5hrs into a 20min project and was only half done. I have stuff i gotta get done, i don't have time to babysit but if I don't babysit, I'm the only one working. Aye yai yai

I've dialed back the "HR nightmares" as my wife calls it lol. I gave my helper the nickname scoop because as he was good for was digging a trench and he wasn't even good at that but at least I didn't have to worry about it getting buried behind the sheet rock lol

Rain here.... but, my boiler crapped the bucket so that made a nice cap to the day. Got a buddy coming out to try and get it going now.

We had a no phone policy for awhile but we have 3 moms with kids out front so we abandoned that policy.
The phone at work thing drives me nuts.

Worst part... I know what he's doing but the jobsite I've been on has such creaky floors that you can't walk in on him doing it, he hears you coming and gets back to work. So you can only complain about how long it's taking. I asked him today "so are you really slow or is your phone a distraction?" And he got really quiet and started to get more done. Smh. I don't expect you to break your back, but stay busy at least.
