Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Wow so it seems like I’m getting a great deal
You can google more, those what popped up first. Yes I think it is great deal. Can’t wait to see pictures.

So how would I make it work?
Turn that pipe. One way will increase the flow for a "wetter" skim which will need to be emptied more frequently, the other way will decrease the flow for a "drier" skim. It's up to you how you want it. @fishguy242 runs his pretty wet and leave the drain open so it drains the liquid back into his sump. I prefer a dry skim so I only have to empty and clean the cup every month or so.

I'd turn it on and turn the pipe in one direction until the bubbles are just reaching the top of the neck and then adjust up to your desired wetness from there. It'll likely start overflowing, but keep slowly turning it until it's where you want it.

If you get it too clean, you're probably going to need to take the cup off and run the skimmer for a couple of days to a week to "break it in".

So hard for me to take pictures of anything much less fish but here is the nut case eating.
He literally will eat out of my hand.
No fear and not shy.

Yes they are bigger and sleep under the sand. I’m not sure about those two. I would ask the vendor you are getting it from. @i cant think can help with the wrasse.

The vendor I’m getting from?

Ask the vendor if Conches get as easily eaten as standard CUC, depending on fish?
They won't. I think he was saying ask about the size. Conches can be fairly small at some stores and quite large at others. Conches tend to stay in th sand during the day and out and about at night - the opposite of Halichoeres Wrasses.

Ohhh, ok. DOH. Thanks Tim. Sorry Kev, just couldn’t figure out.

First one is possibly splitting? I like it better but it might not ship well. It's local?
Not local. Why won’t it ship well? I think it is splitting into 3 that’s what he told me

When they split it can be stressful. Sometimes they ship fine, just always a consideration.
