Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
No but do at least a 30% water change after 10 days.
Will do. Really appreciate all the help. I’ve been stressing out about this.

Is it ok if a lot of it doesn’t dissolve completely?

I’ve been mixing for a while. It doesn’t really seem to be dissolving very well

Ya, it’s fine, it will have a lot of particles. I’m glad to help, I always keep it on hand after I had a huge loss over two years ago.

Sounds good. Just poured it all in the tank.

Just want to confirm, skimmer off and do water change in 10 days. Just want to make sure I’m doing it right haha. Never used this stuff before

Yep, you got this Parker!

I just bought some DI resin the other day - it's probably the only thing I would have purchased.
Yeah I don't buy much from them. If nobody wants it I'll just buy fish food. You can never have too much of that!

I was reading the instructions on the bottle and it say to repeat in 24 hours and do a partial water change in between. Should do that?

What I told you is how I did it. It may not be the only way.

Does he want the skimmer off or running with the cup removed to add air?
I turned mine off but if he doesn’t have good surface agitation I would go with what you suggested.

I mean, I could buy a return pump for the 8 gallon but convincing my wife I "need" to spend an extra $40 on a tank that's doing fine as it sits isn't a fight worth fighting right now I suppose.
