If have used it for food or something but they don't have any tank stock of dry goods. I've been sitting on my card for so long I said screw it, this is probably the best weather I'll get for fish. I already told the wife I wouldn't but from them again. Even with this one not costing me much money. Still cost me like 6 or 7 dollars after the refund

Last night I noticed that I had just become the father of my first two aiptasias and they are huge lol, taking a picture of the hammer I saw something that looked like it and when I looked closely it was exactly what I feared, they are in a difficult place to photograph but I will try in the afternoon

Another proud Aptasia papa I see! Honestly, if there weren't so invasive, they can be quite pretty to see moving in the current. Mojanos as well, they literally glow under blue lights. That would be a great idea for a small cube. Just have aptasia, mojanos, couple other "pests" in there. Try and keep it as 'natural' as if you were looking at a piece of an actual lagoon reef.

I've seen a few aiptasia and mojano tanks and they are quite pretty and interesting.
They are good filter feeders too.

So have I. There is a local guy that has a small, shallow tank with several types of macro algae, aptasia and mojanos and a few other 'invasive' species. It's quite mesmerizing. He said they self regulate and don't just keep spreading.
If I could keep them just in my sump, they do a great job at filtering like you said. My old 90 gallon didn't have a visible one in the display, but the overflow was jammed with them.

I made a mistake in using my live aquaria gift card on a couple fish. Figured it was the perfect time of year in my state. 70ish during the day and 50 ish at night, that as long as it got here in time i'd be fine, and they had no dry goods i wanted in stock. Well the order came out to about $136 so i basically got a wrasse and a royal gramma for the price of shipping. Well the shipping email only said the wrasse so i cantacted them and they said they only sent the wrasse because they didnt have an adequate gramma in stock so they refunded me. So basically my $100 gift card got me 1 red headed solon wrasse... i would have added another fish if they had told me... Well it was supposed to arrive yesterday and its out for delivery today. I assume it probably isnt going to go well. Fingers crossed though. Heres hoping i dont have to pay to ship a replacement and get 1 wrasse for the same price of the wrasse and the gramma... although the wrasse was marked up $10 since my purchase so if i get store credit vs a replacement fish, i have to spend more. Ugh. Been pretty irritated the last 24hrs.

Fish just arrived. My wife's going to float it and put it in for me but her response was "it doesn't look that good" I asked what that means and she says "it doesnt look very alive, but it breathes once in awhile" :disappointed-face: I don't even feel it's ethical to order fish from them in the future if I win a gift card.

I'll have to buy stuff i don't really want/need. Although, maybe I can buy a pump for my nano tank i suppose.
