Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I will check that when I get home.

I just remembered that there is a clamp on my return pump that is a bit rusted. It usually isn’t under what. Only when I do a water change.
Smallish hose clamps won't do much to raise iron but magnets and larger metal objects can.

How bad was your GHA?
Mine wiped out about half of my corals, Monti Eating Nudibranches ate another quarter to a third. That was a rough time for my tank BUT I was setting up the 125 already when it all happened so I rescued what I could and have been rebuilding.

Mine happened about 3-4 years in.
Pretty bad.
Was getting water from the supermarket machine. Found out the machine was actually broken and leeching everything back into the water.
In Idaho the minerals in the ground are big time. Iron and phosphorus.
Lots of radon up here too.
I changed water source and it went away.
Also changed salt too.
What did you test for in that water?

When u say products do you mean the water from the LFS or other thing?
Whatever you are putting in your tank from food to additives to whatever.

What did you test for in that water?
Nothing.
Came in one day to a broken machine with guys working on it and just asked them what was wrong.
They told me it had been that way for a long time. :angry-face:
They eventually replaced the whole machine with a new one.
I bought my little RO right after that.

I will check my wave makers and frag rack.

Good morning what is for breakfast Joel?
Good morning!
With the weather the way it has been, it's been chicken fried steak and tons of country gravy on everything :face-with-tongue:

Just buy a bunch of different sizes to keep on hand.
Probably 3/4 for a return line?
Yeah I honestly don’t know what size.
I order some a few months ago but they didn’t fit.

Probably 3/4 for a return line?
But that's inside diameter. Outside diameter will be closer to 1".

Little break.
Is that nice for you or totally boring?
I’m off on Thursdays, got up and piddled around. I’ve only had one cup of coffee! Water change and deep clean of the tank. Fragging my chalice today and of course laundry. I want your chicken fried steak with extra gravy please!
