What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
I’m being really dizzy, but are these light adjustments on the phone or lighting in tank?

I only know Kelvin from Star Trek
Yes. Either. You can turn the blues off on your tank and run whites or turn the white balance up on your camera and leave the blues on.

Thanks Tim! Appreciate the continued learning and help!

That is a good place to start. :smiling-face-with-smiling-eyes:
Check your products.
Do things one thing at a time.
That's the only way to figure out what it is.
When u say products do you mean the water from the LFS or other thing?

When we replaced my ReefMat roll a month ago, it seemed a bit wonky and not rolling perfectly symmetrical. adjusted and it seemed fine; yet I noticed it wasn’t rolling as frequently.

When I went to change the Chemi- Pure bag that sits inside the box attached to bottom of RM, it was so bad you would have thought I’d had it on there for 6 months, not 30 days! In retrospect, I was smelling more of a stinky tank smelll for the first time but didn’t think to check that bag - total newbie mistake.

Also, I was over feeding just a bit on some liquid foods I had just got. So it was a perfect storm, not just one thing

Everything adjusted, and decided to do a 14-day treatment of Reef Flux RX along with increasing my daily phyto. All GHA gone by 12th day.
How bad was your GHA?

Check anything with magnets to make sure there's no rust - that's where mine was.
I will check that when I get home.

I just remembered that there is a clamp on my return pump that is a bit rusted. It usually isn’t under what. Only when I do a water change.

You can use snapper clamps that are all plastic instead of the metal clamps. I would get rid of that metal clamp asap.
