ive never tried gumbo. it looks delicious though!!

Hello Smorg family!
Wow, it has been a day. Woke up with this dull, intense pain mid sternum. It was hard to breathe too. I went to work and my doctor friend asked if I was ok. I explained the situation and he called 911. Spent the day in the ER getting a full cardiac workup. Several nurses, PAs and Doctors from my work came up to see me as well.
Everything checked out fine. The cardiologist (who knows me from the military) asked everyone to leave and told me it is stress and anxiety. He asked about my PTSD and I broke down. Some days, weeks are hard...very hard on me.
But, I'm like herpes and not going away. God had plans for me still! Plus, I'm a Smorg for life!

Oh, so sorry Keith that had to be scary! So happy the tests came back good! My treatment plan that you need to follow to aT, two weeks on the beach in Aruba. Oh and snorkel the sunken German freighter from WWII!

I did have a buddy send me one of his signature Gonis. It's a Black Label Aquatics Lava Lamp. I just put it in the tank. I'll get a better pic tomorrow.

Thank you Kev. My mind and thoughts were on my wife. I had the ER call her because I left everything at work when the wagon showed up. I knew she was going to be beside herself. She came in the ER looking for me like a steamroller. I could hear her up the hall, crying, asking where I was. It broke me.

well glad you didn't have cardiac issues. I've had to go through that too. press the button every time you feel your heart skip. after 60 minutes of pressing the button like every 20 seconds, they forgot to turn on the recorder so nothing printed

yes, Freeport. I used to do my own stuff but had to stop. you should have seen my big brew days still have all the stuff but plan to give it to the kids.

Man I completely forgot that you brewed beer too. We talked about it way back. Im about to do a batch of a fruited kettle sour, and a farmhouse saison style ale. Im thinking blueberry lemon on the sour.

I wish wild yeast was more predictable and controllable in beer making like it is in distilling. That would be a fun way to brew the farmhouse ale.
