It doesn’t sting me. Not sure about corals but it is huge. 1.25-1.5” thick tube.
I put the UV through the tank. Looks like phyto too with that beam.

I started a list but my adhd kicked in and I didnt finish it. Wait my brain is working again. A few new corals for a few folks, Tom is dosing cipro. Amanda and Jill are still the two coolest people on r2r. Joel lit us up with some new jazz. Luis works too hard, but he's a happy man. Kevin is.....

Mike is on some cool DIY projects. Keith is making clam jokes and being his usual helpful self. Im sure I missed something buddy.

Nice! Everything is good on this end. Not too much to report on the reef…corals are growing.

A couple of zoas and gonis aren’t happy, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. I’m usually ok if 95% of the things are happy.

Family is good…wife and youngest daughter are going to Italy for 10 days. I’ll be holding down the fort. Me and 25 or so animals that is.

@tbrown I don't know if you realize this, but you're the monti guy. Why? Well, you have montis and you're a guy.
No seriously brother, your montis look great and I know you have an affinity for them. I have my digis going crazy and I added that cool little grafted monti cap that we talked about.
But my question is about the encrusters. I have a JF beach bum and today diyreefer sent me a freebie frag of tyree sunset with my order. Ive been told in my smaller tank, with a small aquascape, that these guys will cover everything in a year and will basically just grow over everything. I think they're beautiful and I know they'll spread, but if I use them as fillers or pops of color on plain empty rock, do you think ill have a tank with only two montis?

What has been your experience with encrusting montis. I realize it's late, you dont have to answer that tonight lol

So my daughter’s puppy appears to have eaten a cigarette butt and is wobbly, not doing well, appears like it's drunk and not very responsive.
Anyone on here have any experience with anything like this?
They are headed to the emergency vet now but it's still a half hour away.

Im so with you on the 95% success rate. LOL some days id take 85%. Man im glad to hear youre doing good. Enjoy your quiet time and hug em to death when they get back!

With what the butt is made of, it is probably going to swell in her throat or stomach. Id imagine that's why she's so uncomfortable. I hope that thing isn't lodged in her throat. Im praying for yall and ill be up late. Keep me posted.

Butt was removed after she chewed on it.
She only got a little but she's tiny.
She's sleeping now.
I wasn't there at the time and I'm not getting any real answers from the boyfriend.

Maybe the nicotine got to her. It wouldve been concentrated in a cigarette butt. Idk Joel, let her sleep and observe?
