No it's just a monti cap that the rock was rotated a few months ago so it is changing directions. There is an orange,or maybe pink, setosa that you can't really see behind the big green monti and there is another little piece of the same setosa on the left end back wall ledge that is visible as a little orange blob near the left back of the tank.

I just noticed you can see the reflection of the other setosa in the left end panel.

That isn't the setosa's reflection it is the bubblegum digi that is hidden behind the nori pouch

I had to raise mine a long time ago but yours might need lowered but give it a little time, like I said it takes time to break in.

I know it's old as all get out lol. But it's still the best skimmer I have in the room currently. it is extremely heavy though which is making me wanna replace it.. I can't imagine the pressure on the tank.

A skimmer can take quite a while to break in. They need to form a bio-coating on the neck before the bubbles settle in. If you do need to move it, do so in small increments and wait a while before moving it further.

If I remember the Remora correctly, while it is heavy most of the weight will be more-or-less directly down on the glass so not a problem. They are good skimmers so give it time.

It is used so there isn't any factory oils or anything like that. I will be patient with it thank you.

I went back and checked it out. Great

color, even as a reflection! I have a fairly nice sized chunk that I may mount, or I may let it grow out on the frag rack.

I just saw the re-edit. You've been hanging around Kevin too long, Tom.

Your moni cap is quite the encruster. I bought a small frag to hopefully plate off my rock work. Do they normally encrust that much before they plate? I think it looks great, I just have much less rock work than you and a smaller tank.
