What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?

Good morning Smorg!
I apologize for not being on yesterday. The incident on Sep 10th made me sick, sad and ticked off all at once. (I don't want to discuss it on here, I'm sorry). Then, Sep 11th... let's just say that began a very dark chapter in my life. I needed a mental health day and just disconnected from the world. My wife, who knows my past and lives with it's affects, completely understood my decision to call off work and "vanish" for a day. We went for a long walk through the woods by our house, sat by the river for quite some time, then spent the day just being close to each other. I needed it for my soul.
Good morning Rock, sorry you are going through this. I feel the same way. When waking up at night ( any men who are 55yo or older have discovered the curse of the prostate (You ladies are so lucky that you don’t have any problems with your reproductive organs, unless you’re in healthcare, you probably don’t even know you have them 😉 ), I think of the shooting.

Same here Kevin. It's no fun having to continuously explain all of this insanity to my kids, who can't help but be exposed to it. This world has become desensitized to violence and depravity, and it's dam scary.

Totally understand my friend and I hope and pray you are feeling better today. We all need mental health days sometimes when the world gets to be too much for us.
Thank you Amanda, and I am!

So I was adding a bottle of copepods to the tank this morning and noticed there is a chunk missing out of the birdsnest. It isn't RTN/STN or 'bugs'. Either a chunk got torn off during maintenance or somebody tasted it. It is an abrupt missing patch of flesh on one side of a stalk about an inch long. No lights yet so no pic. I didn't see any fish picking their teeth so who knows. Just need to keep an eye on it that it doesn't turn into STN/RTN. Something similar happened to the Bubblegum Digi a while back and it has been fragged by the Foxface twice, maybe. When it goes on its 'dashes of death' it doesn't care at all what is in the way.

Did you get some of your favorite dip at the river???
As a matter of fact, yes. There is a small clearing away probably a 1/2 mile back that has a sandy spot on the bank. Water was about waist deep. My wife was all for it too, which was a good thing!

Sorry Tom, I have purposely and accidentally fragged mine many times with no detrimental effects. Also as it grows to the right my torches attack it but the rest of the colony is unaffected. 🤞
